About Easel Incorporated
Easel Incorporated is a small business owned by Carolyn Devins which operates out of a bright and cosy home studio in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The company was founded in 1997 to make costumes for film and stage.
A 30 year member of IATSE 212, Carolyn has been making costumes professionally since 1982, and hats since 2000. Her millinery and accessory work can be seen on screen in the following productions, among others: The Claim (2000), Dreamkeeper (2003), Open Range (2003), Little House On The Prairie (2004), September Dawn (2007), Passchendaele (2008), Hell On Wheels (2011-2016), Klondike (2014), Wynonna Earp (2016-20), Tin Star (2017), Fargo (2017, 2022) Damnation (2017-18), JANN! (2018-21), Twilight Zone (2020), The First Lady (2022), Riverdale (2022),The Gilded Age (2022), Billy The Kid (2022/23), Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies (2022), The Abandons (2024) and on various stages in Alberta over the years.

Carolyn has also taught at the University of Alberta, Mount Royal University, Olds College, and in 2019 she began teaching millinery workshops at Costume Alchemy in Alberta, Canada.
